Terms

Last updated 20 October 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and Interactive Enterprises Limited for using FX Pounce at fxpounce.com. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

Who we are

FX Pounce is a product of Interactive Enterprises Limited, company number 137228C, Isle of Man. You can write to us at [email protected].

This is not a bank

FX Pounce is an information website. It is not a bank, a building society, a payment service, an electronic-money issuer, a money transmitter, a bureau de change, or a currency dealer. We do not hold your money. We do not move your money. We do not open an account that stores a balance. We do not offer you a rate you can book, lock, or trade.

Nothing on the site is an offer to buy or sell currency, a contract to exchange money, or a quote from a bank or an app. A number on FX Pounce does not oblige any bank, card, or app to give you that number.

We do not give financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. You decide what to do with your own money, and you should check the rate with the bank or app you actually use before you send, spend, or convert anything.

Prices can be wrong

The figures are a reading of public price lists, put next to each other. The large number is the middle of those lists. It is not a dealing price, and nothing is added or taken off for a fee.

Prices can be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, revised, or missing. Lists disagree with each other. A list can publish a bad figure, skip a currency, or go offline. When a list fails, we may keep showing the last figure we stored. That older figure can be hours or days out of date. Metals, where we show them, are a separate reading and are not everyday cash rates.

The price you are offered in real life will often be different. Banks, cards, and apps add their own margin. They can charge a fee. They can change the rate at the weekend, above a plan’s allowance, for a large amount, or because of a loyalty tier. A rate can move between the moment you look at FX Pounce and the moment you deal. Do not treat a figure here as the amount you will receive.

Where we show what a named bank or app might hand over, that figure is an estimate from a public source, such as a public converter or a comparison collected by someone else. It is not an offer from that firm. It is not mixed into the middle price. If a firm does not publish a rate, we leave that line blank. We do not invent one. Those estimates can be wrong, stale, or unavailable for your amount, your country, or your type of account.

Do not rely on the site

FX Pounce is for general information. It is not a system you should rely on to time a transfer, to meet a payment, to hedge, or to decide whether a rate is good enough. You use every figure at your own risk.

Saved sums, charts, and email or phone alerts are conveniences. An alert follows the middle price, not a bank’s price. An alert can arrive late, can fail to send, or can fail to arrive. After an alert we may stay quiet for a time before we send another. A missed alert, a late alert, or a wrong alert is not a promise we broke, because we never promised that an alert would protect a rate or a sum of money.

Accounts

You can read the prices without an account. An account lets you save a sum and ask to be told when a price crosses a line you set. You must give a real name and an email address you can open. You must keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens through your account until you tell us it is being misused.

By making an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy page. We may refuse, pause, or close an account, including one that tries to break the site, to scrape it in a way that puts a load on it, or to pretend the figures are a rate we have offered.

What you must not do

Do not use FX Pounce to break the law. Do not copy the site and present it as your own dealing service. Do not tell anyone that a figure here is a rate Interactive Enterprises Limited, or a bank, has offered. Do not resell the figures as a live price feed. Do not try to break into the site, to overload it, or to get at another person’s account.

The site can change or stop

We provide FX Pounce as it is, when it is available. We do not promise that it will be up, fast, complete, or free of mistakes. Feeds, pages, and features can change or stop without notice. We can withdraw a currency, a comparison, or the whole site.

We are not liable

To the fullest extent the law allows, Interactive Enterprises Limited and its directors and staff are not liable for any loss or damage that comes out of your use of FX Pounce, or your inability to use it. That includes, without limitation:

We are not a party to any exchange you make with a bank, a card scheme, or an app. We are not responsible for what those firms charge you or for the rate they give you.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that Isle of Man law does not allow us to exclude or limit. That includes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where the law keeps that liability in place. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights the law says we cannot take away.

Where the law does allow a cap, and we are found liable for something these terms do not exclude, our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to one hundred pounds sterling.

Your responsibility

You will not hold us responsible for a claim that arises because you used the figures as a dealing rate, told someone else to rely on them, or misused the site. You are responsible for checking the rate, the fee, and the amount you will actually receive with the firm that moves your money.

Other people’s services

The site links to other websites and reads public price lists run by other people. We do not control those lists or sites, and we are not responsible for them. Their own terms apply when you deal with them.

Our material

The FX Pounce name, the logo, and the pages we write belong to Interactive Enterprises Limited or are used with permission. You may look at the site for your own information. You may not copy it into another product and present those pages or the logo as yours.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The new terms apply from the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the new terms. If you have an account and you do not accept a change, stop using the account and ask us to close it.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Isle of Man. The courts of the Isle of Man will hear disputes about them, except where the law gives a consumer the right to bring a claim somewhere else.

Questions about these terms go to [email protected]. How we handle personal information is on the privacy page. Cookies are on the cookies page.
